Born and raised in Kingsport, Tennessee. Used to watch the woodturners in Gatlinburg and say,"Some day...." Some college, helicopter mechanic in US Air Force, Masters in Engineering (thank you USAF), engineer and Program Manager, retired to industry for ensuing 14 years, retiring again in 2001 from Rolls-Royce North America (turbine engines, not cars). Some day finally arrived.
